Game Fishing in Wales

Wales has a wealth of rivers and lakes in a variety of stunning scenery, choosing where to fish is often more difficult than actually catching them.
With Welsh rivers accounting for more than half the sea trout caught in England and Wales, along with the availability of fishing, it makes for a very special destination.
Wild brown trout are abundant, whether you fish the famed rivers or intimate streams, stunning lowland lakes or the majestic lakes tucked away in the mountains, the challenge is there. These trout are indeed wild and the angler has to use all of their skills to catch them.

Quality grayling fishing has always been there, but the good news is that the choice of rivers containing the Lady of the Stream is now expanding, the rivers of South Wales are gaining an enviable reputation for the quality of their grayling.
